Tenor Michael Azevedo hails from a family of musicians and began his singing career at a very young age. He has sung with renowned ensembles such as American Bach Soloists, and Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra, and has recorded and toured internationally with the UC Berkeley Chamber Chorus, Pacific Collegium, Ensemble Cherubim, as well as the Grammy award-winning Pacific Boychoir. Featured solo appearances include Mozart’s Requiem, Haydn’s Die Sieben Letzten Worte, Monteverdi’s Vespro della Beata Vergine (1610), Bach’s Mass in B Minor, St. John Passion and Magnificat, and many Bach cantatas.

Michael appears as a soloist and cantor at various religious institutions in the LA area. He also has a long career as a film editor, with credits including A Star Is Born, Fast X, Birds of Prey, American Hustle, Foxcatcher, Silver Linings Playbook and many more.
